The Make Sense coaching process pushes people beyond thinking about a commitment to change to securing an emotional connection which is able to convince the brain to adopt new patterns of thinking. We will all be confronted by opportunities to grow or go backwards and the game of coaching is understanding our own gameboard. What are our snakes and ladders? They are not the same for everyone. Understanding ourselves and our own personal dynamics is the key to personal growth and the impact we have on others. We need to know what is going for us but also be able to look at the world from the point of view of others. That is understanding the game board. Not just you. You have to know what you are dealing with in order to change and you can’t do that in isolation. Coaching holds a mirror up to who you are and facilitates personal awareness, acceptance and action in a collaborative way. It allows you to see yourself and what you can bring to the party. Understanding the snakes and ladders of our life is vital. Allowing people to grow without getting in their own way is a big challenge and can be exaggerated in group settings as we strive to protect ourselves by reverting to familiar behaviours. We can be our biggest opponent, holding ourselves back from the growth we want because we cannot understand and find a solution to our current state. Our You v You programme does just that, it looks at our human behaviour and explores what is holding us back as well as showing us techniques to get out of our own way. Group coaching Our group coaching sessions help teams or groups discover alternative viewpoints, provide an opportunity to give and receive feedback and build relationships that are based on trust and a shared experience. This utilises the collective experience in the room and extends long after the peer group coaching program or initiative concludes.
Coaching Supervision Through coaching supervision we focus on the development of coaches in order to allow them to offer a broader and richer experience for their clients. Facilitation Our experienced facilitators can help you manage and control meetings and events so that you stay on the agenda and do not have to manage the room yourself. This allows everyone to fully particate in the discussion and allows us as a third party to keep discussions on point and conflict at bay. Graphic facilitation We also offer graphic facilitation which is the process of facilitating conversations and presenting them in words and pictures. As visually driven human beings, representing messages via images is extremely powerful and can present a lasting memory of the event. Further, the act of getting involved in creating the image by participating in the conversation promotes engagement, team work and energetic connection with the subject. The coaching has helped me in both my wellbeing as well as managing some key challenges at work. I have been able to work through and resolve a very difficult relationship with a colleague which has completely turned around and I have also passed on some of the techniques to my team which have been used effectively. Victoria has a very authentic and personable style which has made me open up regarding some challenging scenarios Leadership Team Member, Engineering Delivery Team, Lloyds Banking Group
